Our Bachelor of Real Estate Management and Auction (Honours) (BREMA)  prepares students with an in-depth understanding of real estate perspectives. Students are taught essential knowledge and skills in business, real estate and auction that permit them to practice as registered valuers, estate agents, property managers, property developers, property investment consultants and auctioneers.

This BREMA qualification is recognised by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BoVAEAP). Upon graduation, students can apply with the BoVAEAP to sit for a professional interview to be a registered valuer, registered estate agent and registered property manager. Meanwhile, an auctioneer license can be applied from the respective State Authorities.

The curriculum is also designed in line with the requirements of Board of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdom (RICS).
 
Malaysian Students
  • STPM or equivalent, Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any three (3) subjects
  • Matriculation/ Foundation or equivalent, CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
  • Diploma or equivalent, CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
  • UEC Grade B in five (5) subjects
  • A-LEVEL Pass with Grade D in three (3) subjects; OR
  • Australian Matriculation ATAR 55
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) 24 points across six subjects
  • STAM with minimum overall Grade of Jayyid
  • Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00, subject to passing the bridging programme
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the University Senate or the Government of Malaysia.
International Students

Assessments under the Bachelor of Real Estate Management and Auction (Honours) are varied; they are based on either full coursework (100%) or a combination of coursework and final examination. The most common combination to be found is 60% coursework and 40% for final examination. Classes are held face-to-face, and include lectures and tutorials (offline and online). Our students are expected to demonstrate their understanding through several forms of assessments, including but not limited to discussions, essays, reports, quizzes, site visits, projects and written tests.

Students are expected to undergo six (6) long semesters and two (2) short semesters, over a span of three years. In the final semester, students will go for a 20-week Industrial training undertaking any role relevant to real estate management and auction. At the end of the programme, student would have completed 121 credits and graduate with a MQA-accredited Bachelor’s degree.
