Empowering Minds and Careers: IUMW's 2-in-1 Workshop Equips Participants for Success
8 July 2023, IUMW: IUMW’s recent 2-in-1 workshop brought together a diverse group of over 50 attendees, including students, members of the public, and professionals from various industries. The workshop proved to be a transformative experience, empowering participants to unlock their career potential and gain invaluable insights into their innate traits for success.
Part 1 of the workshop focused on understanding how behavioural styles influence individuals’ lives and careers. Attendees learned to leverage their strengths and effectively navigate challenges. The session provided practical strategies for adapting communication and interaction styles to foster stronger relationships in the workplace.
Part 2 of the workshop delved into the intriguing world of headhunting. Renowned speaker Tan Aik Seng, with his extensive headhunting experience spanning over three decades, shared his inside stories and professional insights. Participants gained valuable knowledge on what top recruiters look for in candidates and how to best position themselves for success in a competitive job market.
Organised by Assoc. Prof. Dr Sharmila Sethumandavan, Industry Collaboration Lead, the event created an engaging platform for networking and knowledge exchange among attendees from various backgrounds. The 2-in-1 workshop proved to be a catalyst for personal and professional growth, leaving participants inspired and equipped with the tools to excel in their respective fields.
