Applicants may enter the programme through a range of academic qualifications recognised by Malaysian Government and MQA, subject to the relevant requirements below.
STPM
A pass in STPM with minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two subjects.
STAM
A pass in STAM with minimum Grade Jayyid in any two subjects.
Matriculation / Foundation
A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with minimum CGPA 2.00.
Diploma
Any Diploma in non-Artificial Intelligence/Computing/ Science, Technology and Engineering fields (Level 4, MQF) with minimum CGPA 2.75. Candidates with CGPA below 2.75 but more than 2.50 may be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment.
DKM / DVM
DKM/DVM related to AI/Computing/Science/Technology/ Engineering with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 may be admitted subject to rigorous assessment.
DLKM
DLKM related to AI/Computing/Science/Technology/ Engineering with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 may be admitted subject to rigorous assessment.
APEL A
Accepted as an alternative entry pathway for Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctorate programmes, subject to relevant entry requirements and MQA requirements.
Other Qualifications
Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian Government.

Mathematics Requirement
Applicants must satisfy one of the following Mathematics requirements:
SPM or Equivalent
A credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent or higher. (required to take and pass a reinforcement Mathematics subject)
STPM or Equivalent
A pass in STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in Mathematics and one Science/ICT subject.
Diploma
Any Diploma related to AI/Computing/Science, Technology and Engineering fields (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.50. Candidates below 2.50 but above 2.00 may be admitted subject to rigorous assessment.
English Requirement
The following English requirement applies to international students:
International Students
Achieve a minimum score of 5.0 in the IELTS or equivalent.
Mathematics Reinforcement
Those with a pass in Mathematics at SPM/equivalent can be admitted but are required to take and pass reinforcement Mathematics. Reinforcement Mathematics may be offered before enrolment or during the first semester with a conditional offer. Students must pass reinforcement Mathematics before taking related core courses. Students may take subjects without a Mathematics prerequisite.
International Students — Mathematics
International candidates can be admitted if their admission qualification contains Mathematics equivalent to Additional Mathematics at SPM. If not equivalent, they must complete reinforcement Additional Mathematics at SPM level before enrolment. Matriculation/Foundation students may be exempt from reinforcement Mathematics if their Mathematics qualification is equivalent to or higher than SPM.
